During your stay you may come in contact with customs and events, which you are not familiar with from your home.
Custom estates have always been passed from generation to generation, respected and cared for.
As customs have it, in Abtenau the cows at the cattle returning from high pastures in the mountains are only decorated when the year for the country folk as well as for the animals on the mountain pass was positive.
The fall offers a huge variety of other festivals and events which one can attend. During the "harvest Festival" there are over 500 events held which are organised by the local farmers in the Salzburg region.
