Children, big fun

In Abtenau and Lammertalerhof children are especially welcome. The town is filled with with many attractions.

One of the most exciting attractions is the summer toboggan run (one of the best in Europe) it is a snake like stretch with a length of 1.9 km above the Karkogel. It begins as a comfortable ride with the cable car up to the mountain station and from there it turns into heaps of fun and lots of wind, through steep turns and through tunnels underneath.
A big amusement park with trampolines, a low rope course and miniature golf course also offer more opportunities to let off steam and have fun.

The Abtenau swimmingpool with slides, artificial current, waterfalls and sports area, attracts many local children on hot summer days as well.
